We can keep track of your oil automatically, so you never have to think twice about whether you need fuel.

* How do we know when to make your deliveries? – Todd Oil keeps track of the heating degree-days. The colder it is the more heating degree days turn. To figure the heating degree-days you take the average daily temperature and subtract it from 65 degrees. Todd Oil then considered your house size, your systems efficiency, your oil tank size, the number of people in your household and how warm you like to keep the house. The heating degree-days turned between your first tank fill up and the second delivery divided by your gallons consumed equals your “k” factor or burn rate. The convenience of automatic delivery does not cost you any more and you are still entitled to a prompt payment discount for all deliveries paid for with ten days of delivery date.

* PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU USE ALTERNATE HEAT SOURCES TO SUPPLEMENT YOUR OIL HEAT (WOOD STOVES, PELLET STOVE ETC.) YOUR DELIVERY SCHEDULE WILL BE ADJUSTED FOR THE REDUCED OIL CONSUMPTION. PLEASE CONTACT US UF YOU CHANGE THIS ALTERNATE HEAT USAGE EVEN IF IT IS FOR A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.TO AVOID RUNNING OUT OF OIL.

* PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE NOT A FULL TIME RESIDENT AT THE PROPERTY WE ARE SERVICING THAT ANY CHANGE TO THE FUEL USAGE MAY RESULT IN A RUN OUT. PLEASE NOTFY US IF YOU ARE STAYING AT THE HOUSE MORE FREQUENTLY, KEEPING THE HOUSE TEMP HIGHER, USING FIRE PLACE (HUGE HEAT LOSS). TODD OIL DOES INSTALL LOW HEAT MONITORS FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

If automatic oil delivery is not for you feel free to call for your oil. Todd Oil does require a 24-hour workday notice for all deliveries. Orders that come in on Friday’s will be made on Monday unless it is an emergency delivery. The minimum delivery requirement is 100 gallons.

Emergency deliveries are made 24 hours seven days a week and overtime labor charges will be added to your cost for all nights, weekends and holidays. The cost for re-starting your burner for complete run outs is $35.00 or overtime rate (nights, weekends, or holidays.)
